Well, it seams it's time once again to let y'all know what's going on in the life of grand master "todd".

First:
The wedding was amazing! A thousand "thank you's" go out to everyone that came out. I know it sounds cheesey, however it really ment a lot to the both of us that we got to share our moment with the people that mean the most to us. The Ruth was absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and the chapel was amazing.

Second:
Wedding pictures. I have not posted them yet, however our photographer has. Goto -http://www.imaginessence.smugmug.com/-, chose our wedding album, and enter the password "093006" (the wedding date). You can look through all 917 pictures from our engagement photo session as well as the wedding itself. If anyone really wants to, you could actually order prints directly from the site, or swing by our place in the next couple weeks, and thumb through our copies. Big "thank you" to our photographer. Shameless plug -http://www.imaginessence.com/-.

Third:
The honeymoon was also amazing! Maui is absolutely breathtaking. You would have to try awfully hard not to have the time of your life on any part of the island. We spent 10 days there and only got through the west side of the island. The next time (oh yes, there will be a next time), we are going to check out the east side of the island, and watch the sunset from the top of the volcano. The beaches are top notch, and the snorkling/swimming is amazing. I sincerely recomend it for anyone that can afford it. Thank you again, to my parents for covering almost all our expenses for the trip!.

Fourth:
The wedding website/Ruth and my joint website has yet to be updated. Hopefully we'll get it updated in the next week or so. We look forward to posting our pictures, of... well... EVERYTHING. Check back soon.

Fifth:
The site has been updated! As you can see, the site has a new look. It will be a little while before I get the rest of the content updated, but I am working on adding a lot of things to the site. You'll just have to see when it's done. In the meantime, please -email- me, and let me know what you think of it so far. Your input is really helpful to me.

Sixth:
PUPPY! We are getting a puppy! German Shepard with a German Bloodline. We're naming him Fenris, and we're picking him up the day after Thanksgiving, which brings me to my next topic...

Seventh:
Thanksgiving! We are planning a Pre-Thanksgiving Potluck/UFC party on November 18th, at our house. We are emailing out "official" invitations this weekend, however we do not have email addresses for everyone. If we don't have your email address, hopefully we'll get ahold of you by some other means.

My my, how time does fly. Apparently when I say "Details coming soon" I really mean, "Details coming when I remember to get off my ass". Well, as expected, Ortiz beat Shamrock's ass in just a few minutes time. Since my last post, I have purchased, assembled, and tested my new RC car. I'm really looking forward to my first club race which is tonight in Lynnwood. Oh yeah baby, time to get my ass handed to me by a ten year old.

Now it's time to talk about the important stuff, Ruth and my upcoming wedding. I put up our wedding information on it's own site -http://www.ruthandtodd.com-. We had our engagement photo session a few weeks ago, and a couple of the pictures are on the wedding website. After we return from our honeymoon, we will post all the photos from the engagement session, and wedding, on both this site and our wedding site.

On to Wedding Invitation news. My faith in the USPS is renewed. We mailed out our invites on a Friday, and actually received a response on Monday. TOTALLY unexpected. We (by we, I mean "I") didn't even have the website, to go with the invite, done till Monday night. I guess that's what I get for being busy.

Well, I think that is it for this update. Realistically I doubt I will update this thing before Halloween, but who knows.

Holy crap it's been a while since my last update. Although, in the grand scheme of things, I suppose an update every 6 months isn’t too bad.

What has happened in the last 6 months...? What HASN'T happened!?!

First things first, Ru and I are doing better than ever. She has been putting in a ton of hours, and my hours are about to pick up as well (more on that in a minute). We've got all the major wedding stuff taken care of, ordered, and contracts signed. We're SO crazy excited!

Ru and I threw our first BBQ and UFC extravaganza. It was a total success. Lots of people showed up, and it was a blast. Few too many kids for my general liking, but even that wasn't bad. Luckily we have a room with very little they could destroy, that we could stick them in. It was a great time for all.

My friend, Nick, is going to Taiwan to see the sites, and visit Laura. While away, Ru and I are taking care of his neurotic cat. The little beast likes to walk on our heads at night, and burrow his way to the middle of the bed, beneath the blankets during the day.

Took a day off yesterday for a little R&R, and a little extra recuperation from seeing Digweed Sunday night. Damn was that a good time. I miss good DJs playing at the Showbox. I miss good djs playing any venue that doesn't completely blow, anywhere in Seattle (LSC this means you).

The WORLD CUP is back!!!! Watched Brazil's opening game, and it did not disappoint. Freaking amazing.

Back to work stuff, I guess.... Kris decided to quit his job, and work for his mom down in Tacoma. It looks like I'll be doing my job and his job "officially" from here on out. As anyone that has talked to me in the last eight months knows, there is nothing new about that around here. The only difference, is that I will get to take credit for my own work, and responsibility when something slips through the cracks. I see this as a great opportunity to turn things around here at WSMC. I'm looking forward to putting some integrity back in my department. I've been looking to run things around here for a long time. Unfortunately the only way I would be able to do that is to push down my friend and take over. Not that he didn't deserve it but, Kris was my friend long before he was my boss, so that was pretty much out of the question. Hopefully his new job treats him well, and he turns his shit around.

Now, on to website stuff. I am going to be changing my site around again. This site will be primarily for wedding information in a few weeks, with what you see here being a link from it, at least until SEPTEMBER 30th 2006! I've got a lot of pictures comming soon. I just need to get off my ass, crop and resize them.

Hopefully, we will be having another UFC gathering on July 8th to watch Ortiz kick Shamrock's ass. Details comming soon.

What a year 2005 turned out to be. 2006 will only get better!

We have set a date!
September 30th at 1:00!

Invitations will be out as soon as we get the details worked out.

It has been FAR too long since I've updated my site/news posts. I know, it's not like anyone reads this thing, however for my own peace of mind, I like to keep it up to date. Ru and I had an excellent holiday! Christmas was fabulous, albeit extremely busy. Our parents finally met, on the Wednesday following, and all went well. New Years Eve was a blast! We went out and met up with a lot of friends, for the first time since they passed the initiative banning smoking indoors, and I'll tell you it was AWESOME. I could breath, see all the way across the club, and wasn't sneezing black stuff the next morning. Who knows, maybe I'll make a habit of getting out of the house ;).

We are throwing a housewarming/engagement party on February 18th! Come back soon for details.

I suppose I should get to the bad news. It has come to my attention that the demographic viewing my site has changed dramatically. I have decided to take down some of the more incriminating pictures, for the time being. So, until I get the pictures pages worked out, I'm going to take them offline for a few days. In addition to that, it's been a few months since the last time I built my site from the ground up, and it's about time I did again.

I'm also thinking of doubling this site as our wedding planning/information site, to keep everyone informed of how things are coming along. This being the case, I figured I should change the site to reflect that.
