2008-02-10Wow... I suck. It's been nearly three months since my last post. Some day I'll get the hang of keeping this thing updated. Let's get started. When I left you last, I was days away from starting my new job. I suppose I'll start there. How can I best describe my new gig?... I freakin love it. Every day feels like someone crashed a skyscraper full of knowledge and experience directly into my brain. Yeah... I said "crashed a skyscraper"... visualize that for a minute ;). If I get started I'll ramble on and on..., so if you really are curious about my career drop me a line, and I'd be happy to jabber for a bit. -Ruth went to London- and made it back alive, though with a slight case of the plague. Apparently London was a little dirty, but their local citizens play D&D in their local pub, so it all works out. Apparently Brooke is fabulous despite being on the other side of the planet ;). She has finally freed herself of English boy. We all wish her luck and good times ahead. We have a roommate for a bit. The day Ruth left, Kris moved in. He and the girl went separate ways. Kris seems like a whole new person now. Haven’t seen Kris talk about “tomorrow” in a positive light in a long , long time. He’s easy to live with, which is cool. Though, I’ll admit, I miss my wine a little. We’re still fostering German Shepherds and there are a lot that still need homes. To see the ones we’ve had in our house (as well as links to the rescue) go to -ruthandtodd.com-. Other than that, we’ve still got a ton of stuff going on. It’s quite ridiculous.
